Three answers give you a rate

Cabro pricing depends far more on what is under the paving than on the blocks going on top. So rather than a long form, there are three things that actually move the number.

1. 1. How big, roughly, in square metres?

   Length × width is fine. A typical domestic driveway is 40–80 m². Do not measure precisely: we will do that at survey.

2. 2. What drives on it?

   Cars only, or occasional lorries and deliveries? And is there a gate where vehicles turn on the spot? That decides 60mm or 80mm, and it is the difference between paving once and paving twice.

3. 3. What is the ground like now?

   Grass, murram, old paving, black cotton that cracks in the dry season? And does water currently pond anywhere after rain? This is the answer that moves the price most, and it is the one nobody expects to be asked.

A photo helps more than a description

One picture of the area after rain tells us more than a paragraph. Where water sits is where the drainage design starts, and it is the single most useful thing you can send.
